Nepean is well known for its family oriented community and there are many quality public, private, and catholic schools, Montessori’s, daycares, and early childhood centres available for children. In addition, Algonquin College is also located in Nepean and easily accessed at Baseline Station. Location and Transportation

It is approximately 20-25 minutes to downtown Ottawa and 15 minutes to Ottawa International Airport. It is well serviced by OC Transpo bus routes which make travelling to any part of the city easy and quick. There are also Park and Rides at Fallowfield and Strandherd stations for downtown commuters. The VIA rail station at Fallowfield is one of the city’s two train stations.
